ndrea Lee is a rising star on the LPGA Tour, highlighted by her first victory in the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee won on every level, which includes her collegiate golf career at Standford University where she earned nine victories, and was ranked for 17 weeks as #1 Women's Amateur of the World. In the wake of winning the Mark H. McCormack Award for the highest ranked women's amateur worldwide following the completion of the 2019 season, Lee turned professional. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native, born in the month of the month of August in 1998. James James began teaching her at age 5 to play the game of golf. She first began playing in tournaments at the age of 8 and won 50 junior titles within 4 years. This year's US Women's Open was her first tournament cut. aged 15 with her dad playing as her caddie. The 15-year-old was given a sponsor's invitation to attend the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour however she missed the cut by just one shot. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. Lee became Stanford's most famous golfer in the history of the university in 2016, after she won nine titles in the following three years. Lee turned professional in 2019after having left Stanford University. The amateur career of her was a success, seeing her spend 17 weeks on top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received an award called the Mark H. McCormack award during the year 2019 following becoming the most popular amateur. Lee was an amateur of the top who scored four albatrosses as well as four holes in one. The first time she played she finished with two top-10 finishings. She was seventh at the AIG Women's Open 2020, which was held on Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was the first woman to win her debut LPGA Tour win in the 2022 Portland Classic.
